Lucas and Radha were getting increasingly stressed, as they had been looking for a home for an extended period of time themselves but didn’t have a plan (both short & long term) of where they wanted to be, what was important, and had missed a few auctions. When they approached Oasis Skeen, they were getting to the point where they were basically looking anywhere they could afford.
They liked the fact that we published our fees online for transparency & after interviewing several other agents felt they would be well protected by Oasisskeen and they liked our direct approach.
We sat down to work on plan of where the budget would get the best result and once that was put into place we spent the next few weeks inspecting places together to get a ” feel” for the market and being comfortable moving forward quickly when we found ” the one”
After 7 weeks we found an off market townhouse that suited their budget and timeframe ( new bud was born 4 weeks after settlement) requiring only cosmetic attention ( paint & carpet) we secured this off market as the vendor needed to sell quickly to move back to NZ so we helped by offering a 4 week settlement so a win/ win for both parties .
Working with Oasis, more specifically Paul, was the best decision we could’ve made. We were first time buyers and pretty lost on how to find and negotiate a property. Having Paul as a support was game changer, having the pre selected properties, suburb profiles and just the experience of someone that does that for a long time gave us and incredibly confidence.
We were hesitant on the beginning because of the costs but was well worth it! Our regret was just not having hired them before, 12 months looking alone and in just 2 with them we found something what we were looking for!
